Resumen. Este ensayo propone una lectura inédita de tres películas, The Night of the Hunter (Charles Laughton, 1955),
Moonfleet (Fritz Lang, 1955) y El espíritu de la colmena (Víctor Erice, 1973), a partir del análisis comparativo de diversos motivos estructurales y de la puesta en escena que evocan el mito genesíaco de la Caída y expulsión del Paraíso en clave de relato de iniciación a la edad adulta.
